As a Front-End Developer at Merqato, you will play a vital role in shaping the user experience and interface of our cutting-edge products. Working in a dynamic, cross-functional team, you will be responsible for:

• Crafting intuitive user interfaces: Build, optimize, and maintain the front-end of our commercial product, ensuring seamless integration with data-driven insights and forecasting tools.
• Collaborating on product design: Work closely with product designer and back-end developers to bring great prototypes to life in scalable and user-friendly web applications.
• Implementing future-proof solutions: Develop front-end architectures that are flexible and scalable, enabling rapid iteration and integration of new features.
• Enhancing performance and usability: Ensure high performance and user experience by optimizing the platform across devices and browsers.
• Staying ahead of trends: Keep up with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure our product remains state-of-the-art.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Proven front-end development and UX/UI design experience (5-10 years): A strong track record of delivering user-centric B2B web applications with modern frameworks.
• Expertise in front-end technologies: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Data visualisation skills: Experience creating intuitive visual representations of complex data (e.g., with eChart or Recharts similar libraries).
• Product-focused mindset: A user-centered approach to development, ensuring every feature contributes to the overall product goals.
• Collaboration and communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, thriving in a multidisciplinary and startup environment.
• Experience in dynamic start up environments: Prior experience in startups or fast-paced teams, showcasing your adaptability and problem-solving abilities.
